Hood Release Cable installation
Has anyone installed the hood release cable for their LS?
Back Story: One windy day, I was cleaning under the hood and had left it open; when a gust of wind made the hood slam close. After that, I had difficulty closing the hood unless the cable randomly snapped the latch closed.
I replaced the hood latch assembly but it didn't really solve my problem. When I pop the hood, the latch assembly stays open and doesn't snap back. Almost like the cable is too long?
Any advice would be helpful.
