Default Just got tranny flush and.....

The car runs same as before... here is the kicker...the fluid is just as brown as it was before and it has about 1/2 inch too much on the stick measuring with the car running in park...so i know they put something in it... does anyone think i got ripped off or did the fresh fluid just get brown after driving it for about 50 miles???

Sounds like they dropped the transmission drain plug, drained it and refilled it. The remaining oil in the torque converter has diluted out the fresh oil.
(you can do this at home for the price of 4 qts of oil)
If you paid for a full oil flush you might want to talk to them.

at the lexus dealership they only do drain and fills. witch means what u said. they dont do t-techs like at jiffy squirt.

and not knowing the history of the car.

he could be at 60k+ miles and still have the original fluid thus its just a brown as before. if he smelled the trans fluid it will have a very distinct smell. not a burned 1

While on vacaction once, I stopped by a dealer in Naples, Florida that did the flushes, but the one I go up to San Antonio only did drain and fill. Down here, my uncle and I now do the drain and fills. Not sure how common it is in the U.S. now.

Cool

Ditto, they didnt flush it. If it's still brown, you still need to have it done, or do more drain & fills.

hey bro i work for lexus and we have a tranny flush machine that we use so no we do not just drain and fill................but if what he is saying is true he needs to go back to the dealer and speak to the person in charge cuz there is no way the fluid is or should be the same color at all
