I wanted to consult you guys before my dad put the car in for repairs, in 1 hr.
Every morning when i my dad pulls out of the garage, i notice a small pool of oil.
The car seems to be running fine.
Any comments?

Take it in... Oil leaks may be anything from anywhere. You didn't mention whether the engine was oily in the first place or has it been cleaned. How many miles and years old? Are you sure it's motor oil? There are several fluid types under the hood.

Crankshaft seals, oil pan seals, camshaft seals, valve covers, oil filter... Many points for a leak. Might need to put it up in the air and clean the under carrage, then follow the drips.

Check to see if the Oil Drain Plug Washer ring is there. Sometimes the mechanic forgets to put it back on or loses it during an oil change.

more than liky the ps pump.

easiest way tofind a leak is go to a local car shop ask for leak detector. put half into the engine half into the ps pump drive and go buy a black light bulb. go under the car and look for neon yellow and fallow the yellow brick road (fallow the neon yellow trail)
