I have a 1992 Lexus SC400 with 85k miles. Does this car have a timming chain and if so when should I change it. I have gotten different answers and I need the correct one. Thanks guys@!

 

The 92 SC400 has a timing belt. I had the dealer changed the timing belt, fan belt, water pump and tensioners while they were in there. They recommend the timing belt change at 90000 miles

It was closed to $900.00. Quite expensive, but consider this has to be done every 90k miles, which is not bad at all.
