Default Windshield defects

I have a new 2004 RX330 and I'm not too sure if I have a defect in the windshield.
If the sun is shining directly at me I see what appears to be hundreds of tine specs in the glass. I checked and they seem like very tiny bubbles between the two glass halves.

It is more annoying than anything else and I wonder if it's a known defect.
Do you think the dealer would relpace the windshield if I brought it down or am
I being too critical.

Thanks

It's unheard of but possible. Toyota's glass suppliers(PPG, Nippon Glass, Asahi and AP Techniglass) have good quality control.

No kidding?? I have a 95' LS with 91k and I've got the exact same thing. I thought it was just years of over the road dirt and grim that etched the glass. I've cleaned, waxed, polished and everything else I know to try, but can't. It's a pain in the tail when the sun hits it and you can't see. Let me know what you find out please.

My car is 11 years old and I have not noticed anything like that. I would say that is not up to standards as well.
