I just picked up a replacement P/S pump for my 95 ES300. I'd like to DIY for this project to save $$$ over the dealer. How hard is it to install one of these and what tools are needed to get in there and do it? Thanks...this will be my first P/S pump job ever

I had the P/S pump replaced on my '96 about a year ago, it rain me about $650 parts/labor at the dealer. I'm thinking you might be able to get it done at an independent shop for about $400, perhaps.
I did a lot of the PS pumps on the ES at the dealer and it is not fun at all( with lift and all the tools, still not a cake walk). The hardest part is to get the high pressure line mounting bolt loose from the pump. Most of the time the bolt ( 22 mm bolt) will spin along with the union on the pump. This will make the high pressure line to twisted in a few degrees and it will not line up with the new pump when you're try to put it back on the car. If this happen to you, then you will have to twist the copper line back to the original location and re-install it. A pain in the neck.
Please look where the PS pump on the ES located. Close to the fender well and you don't have too much room at all. Good luck and let us know how the DIY goes.

when is your 60K or 120K service going to get done?...and see if there is a rebuild kit avaliable for it...
60K mile service was done 2 years ago according to records. The 90K mile service hasn't been done yet. I'm at 100K. I know I know, I need to get on the ball immediately. I'll take it in along with the new pump and see what happens.
