Does anybody have the factory steps for removing and installing a new pump?? Also, I was told that the high pressure line should be replaced at the same time as the pump. Is that true? Since the parts are roughly 473 for pump and 375 for the damn hose, I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I had the power steering pump take out the alternator on my 93 SC400. Both were changed by the dealer and they never suggested changing the high pressure line. They did however recommend changing the feed side.
If yours is leaking on to the alt. then be sure and degrease it as best you can. If not, the alt will attract dust and eventually overheat and die.
