BTW I feel obliged to comment on this ancient comment, regarding Premium fuel, the owners manual of my 2017 LS460 advises, or warns, "use only premium fuel, using fuel with less octane may cause engine damage." Lexus does not elaborate on what the "engine damage" might be, either. But naturally it's what I've been using since day one that I have owned the car (May 2023).
If Lexus believes that strongly about it I'm not about to second guess them to save $4 on a fill-up...but I'm thinking it might be a good idea to toss in a can of octane booster in the trunk, in case I'm ever faced with a fuel up from some service station that doesn't actually have premium -
