I don't know about that particular model, though either the Haynes manual or or the Chilton's manual (or both) would have it in there. Both come in very handy when performing maintenance on your own car. I know most vehicles are only 8 to 10 lbs. or so though, so not terribly tight... just enough to keep the oil in and the gasket squished enough to not let it out.

When doing it though, it always helps to double, triple, and quadruple check every bolt, as the gaskets usually crush a little and when going back around, you'll find that when you tighten one side, the other then has extra play in it and you'll have to tighten those.. Anyhoo, good luck with it!

for my 99 LS,

65 in. lbs torque on bolts.

Use 2-3mm wide bead around pan for gasket......

The best sequence is the ' Star pattern' and make sure you're using Toyota FIPG( black silicon) from Toyota/Lexus dealer. One tube will set you back around $20-25.00.

Mine shows 12 bolts and two nuts - Use several ( as in at least three) passes to uniformly tighten.

Follow the litte groove in the pan between the bolts and then just swing the bead to the inside of bolts at those locations

3-5 mm wide bead so that's about 1/8 to 1/5 ".

Default Talked to the dealer

The repair manual and parts fische shows no gasket for the oil pan. The manual shows applying a small bead .012" - .016" wide of sealant (toyota part #08826-00080) on the oil pan mating surface. Within 5 minutes of applying the sealant, the oil pan must be put in place. The manual shows no tightening sequence but the final torque should be 69 in-lb.
