Default resealing oilpan

Are there any special precautions I gotta take when resealing my oil pan? its been leaking alot lately, and i'm gonna get the toyota sealant to do the job.

I take it, all i have to do is drain the oil, unbolt the pan and replace the gasket and reseal, right? or is this harder than it seems

FOLLOW THE TORQUE VALUES AND TIGHTENING ORDER EXACTLY. Get a torque wrench, and follow Toyota's procedure in the manual, as you need to place RTV in the grooves and around the bolt holes. Other than that and keeping the sealing surfaces surgically clean and free of oil, it should be straightforward. Some people wait for the RTV to skin over before install, but make sure you don't squeese the heck of it.
