Torque Values
replacing gasket on oil pan ( 98 ES300 ), can someone tell me how much torque is needed to tighten?

RTV has 0 strength, it's a better seal than the stock gasket too.
Just use something to slit the RTV a little bit then wiggle the pan & it'll let go. If not, use something like a gasket scraper, or screwdriver to pry it up. Don't crazy, tool steel VS aluminum = marred aluminum.
Ultra Black RTV is great stuff. $5 tube, use that putting the pan back on. (Clean the surfaces with an alcohol based something, or acetone if it's impossibly oily.)
On the lower pan it's 10 bolts, 2 nuts
Oil strainer is 1 nut 2 bolts
Upper pan requires moving the y-pipe stay & flywheel housing cover 2 bolts
Then 17 bolts, 2 nuts
10mm 5.75 lb-ft
12mm 14 lb-ft
14mm 27lb-ft
