Disabling auto Stop Start
I just received today as well. Works great.
One thing I noticed is it appears to only work when you start the car cold. I installed the device, started the car and the light appeared. Then, I drove to a parking lot, and turned the engine off while staying in the seat. When I restarted the engine, the light did not appear, but when coming to a stop the dashboard said battery charging so I believe the start stop feature would have come on later.
I tried again and left the car and locked it, walked away, came back and started car and the light appeared again. Side note: it’s cool how at night when you approach the car locked it welcomes you with puddle lights with Lexus logo. Also make sure when reinstalling the side cover to pull the weather stripping outside the panel again.
Overall, it suits my needs and helps if someone else is borrowing it for them not to deal with finding the button.

interesting …..
I have not noticed the feature only working on cold starts. It has worked 100% of the time on cold or hot starts for me, as long as I have not pushed the Circle-A button on the dash.

My fear of installing anything like this is of or when something happens under warranty that might involve electronics..Lexus could come back and say you modified the vehicle and not cover the repair under warranty.
What are you thinking the “something” (problem?) is that would happen? All this device is, is something that mimics the pushing of the circle-A button on the dashboard — an established function of the vehicle — and simply stores and preserves the “off” electrical signal between start-ups of the engine, instead of requiring one to manually push the button.
So, I am just not seeing what could go wrong or what problem could crop up that would require a warranty repair.
And …. if a repair WAS required for some reason, how would Lexus even know that this device was ever even installed?

in any case and in any fault you could always take it off in less than two minutes it does not leave any trace
Has anyone tried to remote start the LX after installation of the gizmo? I auto started mine last night at home, got in the truck (it shuts off after unlocking it) and when I restarted it, the auto started stop gizmo wasn’t working. After I got to where I was going and shut the truck off, it was sitting for a couple of hours, I restarted the truck and the gizmo was working again. Anyone test this yet?

I will check that out today.

I parked and locked the truck for 5-10 minutes to run inside a store for an errand. When I came back out (didn't remote-start this time), when I started the truck the start-stop suppression function was ENABLED again.
So, it seems, that when the truck is remote-started, the start-stop removal function goes away. When the truck is started with the key fob in proximity, the functionality is enabled.
Thanks for seeing and flagging this quirk, @3ZERO8!
