Interesting. I compared the pins from my module to this new one. They are arranged in a different configuration, and there is one less pin in your new module than the one I had.

Glad to hear they were finally able to make this work !!

 

I can confirm item is working 100% on my 2023 LX 600 installation is very easy and at the moment you start your recognition, you can see the red light which means that start stop is disabled automatically without pressing any button anymore thank you very much

I ordered one of the new ones (as per @motin, above) and it is arriving today. I will install and give a second report.

I am very happy to CONFIRM @motin's report that this new/revised module DOES WORK with the LX600. It successfully negates the "circle-A" engine start/stop feature.

You just install and plug it in per my instructions above, and it works from the get-go. You just start the engine, and after the display boots up you will see the small reddish-brown "circle-A" logo displayed.

DO NOTE, however, that once the module is installed, DO NOT PRESS THE CIRCLE-A START-STOP BUTTON ON THE DASHBOARD. If you do, this will negate the effect of the module, and you will have to remove the dashboard end-cap, unplug one end of the module, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in again. Then it will resume canceling the start-stop function.

If you press the dashboard button with the module installed, it will re-activate the start-stop function (circle-A will disappear from the dashboard), You can press the button again to cancel the function, but the module won't work the next time you start the engine ... necessitating the afore-mentioned unplug-replug motion. So don't press the dash button once the module is installed !!!

SOOOO glad that we have a solution now, for this fully annoying "feature" on the LX600.

Y'all are gonna be super stoked. I am really happy. Drove the LX600 today and was SO nice not to have to deal with that dad-gummed start-stop "feature."

 

Used @motin AliExpress recommendation and installed yesterday. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Includes the orange plastic pry tool, that literally takes you 3 minutes to install with 10mm socket and pry tool. Definitely worth it!
