Another Tires thread
Installed the new Toyo tires, they look fine, I will update as I put the mileage on this set. Discount tires were wonderful and professional.
As for the vibration, it is still there, I have an appointment with Lexus Dealership on the 24th to look into this issue, I will update the forum once I have more info.

don't let the dealership / any shop tells u 'maybe' it's this...maybe it's that...'maybe we should change this first'..... they should do the diagnosis, give u the facts (and measurements - such as run out #s) before recommending any changes
We will see.
I picked up the car from Lexus, they said that they performed road force balance and found out 3 of the 4 Toyo tires installed recently are out of round and cannot be balanced, basically need to be replaced. I went back to discount tire and showed them the print outs from Lexus diagnostics, so they said that their road balancer is much more accurate than Lexus and they will check the tires. They verified that 3 tires need to be replaced and offered to order them, I declined and asked for a set of Yokohama's instead of Toyo and we did place the order and I paid $190 difference in price for all 4 tires.
I am wondering how could it be that 3 out of 4 tires are bad and has a manufacturing defect, I mean if it was one, I can understand but 3, that is amazing. Is there any quality control at Toyo? Shouldn't this issue been discovered when I installed the new set, my understanding is that all new tires installation have to be balanced and Lexus said two of the tires were so much out of round that nothing can be done, the third one was borderline.

When I had my old Honda years ago, I purchased a set of new Bridgestone tires from Tirerack.... I mounted and balanced the tires myself.... but on highway speed the vehicle started vibrating.... I put each tire back on the balancer and they were perfectly balanced.... luckily the dealership I used to work for long time ago can also do road force balance and that 2 tires were out of round.... I printed out the computerized result from the road force balancer and emailed to Tirerack asking for replacement...they said they will replace but needed me to return the defective tires first!!! Whow...how can I operate my car w/ only 2 tires!!!!! That's ridiculous... But they offered no alternate course.... I ended up ordered a new set of Michelin through the dealership and returned the 2 defective tires back to TRack.. sold the other 2 good tires online.
Almost EVERY tire shop when replacing new tires for clients will not do roadforce balance, because they do not have the machine (those kind of machine cost almost 20k - compare to some 3-6k for a regular tire changer). But some dealerhsips that has roadforce balancer, depends on the technician, may do road force balance at the same time (technicians always want to beat the clock and make more $$$)...
It is rare to have tires that are out of round from the factory.... but sometimes the out of round is caused by shipping / storage (wrapped by wire too tight for too long / placed on the rack / surface for too long w/ the tread facing down.... sometimes if you park your car for too long it'll cause flat spot too on the tires....
BTW, I usually stay away from Toyos... as I recall (at least on he Toyos I worked on before on Infiniti)...they wear out very very fast / low tread wear rating....
But glad the tech found the tires to be out of round...let us know what happens after the new Yokohama.

Replaced 4 tires this morning with Yokohama's, Test driven it extensively, truck feels much better, next step I will take it to the dealership for Alignment.

@ragabnh Did Replacing tires which were not out of round and wheel balancing took care of the vibrations?
I purchased a 2012 Lexus LS 460 Today and felt the same vibrations b/w 70-80 mph and asked dealer to check, they said the car needs new tires and balancing; so wanted to check from you and see how did it go for you.

It did fix the problem, and now after rotating twice the vibration is totally gone. I have driven around 12,000 miles since then on the Yoko's and they are doing fine, I like them.
