Computer & Body Control Module
I am recently having several challenges with my 2008 Lexus LX570:
1. Keyless entry remote does not open or close the car, Checked and changed the battery and seems okay.
2. Car won't start sometimes even while depressing brake. Sometimes have to use the keyless entry remote by placing nest to Start/Stop Button
3. Tire pressure warning light come on sometimes when you starts the car but there is no display of the individual tire pressure readings
4. Car alarm comes on sometimes when car is started. Have to wait about a minute before alarm goes off.
5. Rear liftgate door does not work from either keyless remote or button in car
We have changed the remote battery and appears to be good. We replaced a brake switch which I understand was faulty. In spite of many resets, I understand I need to change the Body Control Module (BCM) and Network Gateway Computer. Any advice or help from anyone.....

When things like this begin to happen, it is a sign to me that the time has come to trade in the LX as it is. Your LX is approaching 15 years old, and you can maybe get around $18K. Sometimes it is best to just fold your hand and limit your loss.
