A week ago, my remote for RES wasnt working. After doing some troubleshooting, I contacted my dealer and had them order me a new one. I just got one today and it still doesnt work. None of the functions work but if you put in a DVD, it will display the movie on the screen. Do I need to reset configure the remote ? What am I missing here.. Thanks...

 

Maybe your remote is working but the receiving unit is faulty. Try pointing your remote at a camcorder and push any button on the remote. When looking into the viewfinder of your video camera, If you see a flickerering light emmiting from your remote, then it's working and your problem is elsewhere.
