15GS Remote Start Not Working
Hello. I have a 2015 GS350 F Sport. I recently signed up for the Lexus Safety with Remote for $16 a month. The door lock/unlock and vehicle finder work in the app. But the remote start doesn’t. The parking lights flash and the car attempts to start just once. But instead of starting it just clicks once. Then the app says request not completed. Please contact your dealer for assistance [D2]. It does the same thing when attempting to remote start via the key fob. Car has been at dealer for over 2 days with no luck. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you solve it?

Check the battery. If the battery is weak the car will have issues remote starting or will not remote start at all. And have the dealer make sure your network gateway isn't draining the battery , there was a TSB out on that for the GS,certain model years it need to be replace to to excess current draw.

My battery is reading low, but Lexus says it’s still within specs. My voltage meter is showing 12.0 - 12.3 volts sitting and only 13.3 volts cranked. Pretty low to me, but yet it still cranks...battery is by Lexus and was installed in January 2018...still under warranty. Why would it start via the button in the car and not remotely though?

I had the same issue , the car will start when you are in the car but will not remote start. Tell Lexus to replace your battery; if you use the old lexus remote app, labeled enform remote, it will show a error if the car's battery is too weak to remote start. DL the app from your app store, login and try to remote start with the car outside , so there is no cell interference. The app should throw an error, i think a THS159 code or something, Screenshot that and show your delayer.
I don't know why the car will start with the fob and button but wont remote start if the battery is weak, probably something lexus for some reason.

You’re not going to believe this! I did what you said and downloaded the Enform remote app. On the first remote start attempt I got THS157 code and took the screenshot. Then I tried it again. It said there was an error and would I like it to fix. I said yes and then it came back and said could not remote start because the doors were unlocked. Would you like to lock and then reattempt. I said yes. Then it successfully locked the doors. Then it remote started for the first time! Maybe I need to use the Enform remote app instead of the new app. Thoughts???
