Now that's insane. You've had your 2013 LX since 2005?

I just had my radiator replaced last week at the Toy dealership, and it cost $900 + tax. The Lexus dealership wanted $1600 for the same job, don't believe them when they tell you that they have te remove the front of the car to do the job!

You should call and talk to service manager at Lexus and complain about them being dishonest.

I'd look for a qualified indy shop that specializes in Toyota's in my area...that's where top Toyota techs go when they bump the top of their pay scale.

An oem radiator is under $500 online delivered worst case...with a bit of google you can find one for ~ $350 shipped. A couple of genuine Toyota or Gates hoses around around $75. For me, it was a 2-hour job start to finish, and I did it in my 2-car garage. The front skid plates come off in 5 minutes, and the bumper stays put. R & R of a 200 series radiator is VERY simple.

The service manager likely knows about dishonesty...he runs the place. Open a case online or by phone with Lexus and see if you can get some $$$ back.
