May I ask what year, optional features, mileage, location, and price paid if you don't mind?
Our 2013 LX570 came with the key fob remote start. See pic for instructions. Please note that NOT ALL LX570 came with this option.
Also if you do use the remote start.........as soon as you open any doors the engine will shut off and after you get in, you will have to restart the LX570. This is it's anti-thief safety feature.

We don't use this remote start optional feature much in SoCal. I guess if we were in freezing cold weather other desert 120 degree F environment, then we'll use it more often.
Windy and FREEZING....... definitely not for me if I can help it. Other than going on a short vacation in the cold (e.g. ski trip), I think I will pass.
