Hi guys, i have a question before i make a decision on order the wheels for my 17” LX, iam thinking to get Vossen HF-1 22x10.5” with 25mm offser and go with 305/40/22, my question is would it rub the fender liners or rubbing the fender? Is it too wide? Would it stick out alot due to the offset? And my last question is can i go with this setup without the TPMS? I know without the TPMS will goes off like crazy, but would it affect the truck ECU? Thanks
You shouldn't have any issues with rubbing on the inner liners since it'll sit about 10mm further away than the stock wheels, it'll be aggressive in terms of fitment but its an SUV and should look good with the more aggressive fit. It won't overly stick out though.
You can run without TPMS if you want and live with the TPMS not reading as I've ran no TPMS on my '15 GS350 but I didn't like the empty readouts.
For safety reasons, I would not use low profile tires without TPMS. Actually I would never use low profile tires with a body on frame, rear solid axle SUV. Land Cruiser and also its twin LX were designed for offroading... I can never understand people who do such terrible things to their cars.

thanks for advice, but i never take my truck for off-roading and i am only driving my truck once a week
Post some pictures after install the new wheels and tires. Just make sure your wheels and tires can handle the same vehicle weigh as the OEM wheels and tires are good to go
What's the load rating of these wheels? If it's a lot less than the stock wheels I would pick other wheels, perhaps from a better band.
Good point and also be mindful of the load rating for the tires too that they meet or exceed OE Specs.
