Default 2016 Remote Start

I did a search, but could not find anything conclusive.

It seems that the 2016 model only has the smartphone app-type remote start.

Could anyone confirm if this is a dealer accessory, or already built into the vehicle?
I know there is a subscription fee for the app, but didn't know if the necessary hardware already comes with the vehicle.

TIA!

Click lock 3 times and hold the last click for a few seconds. The dealer had no idea that it came standard but my friend who has the same car showed me.

On my 2014 now gone I had to have the remote start installed.
On my 2016 I am using the Lexus Enform Remote iPhone app. I have no idea if there is another way to do it. Call the service department and ask them.

Thanks for the responses.
The car is not here yet, I'll try once it's delivered.

And the good thing is that Lexus Enform remote is free for the 1st year, I guess. What I've noticed though is that it takes longer to start the car thru the app than with my previous dealer installed remote on the key.

It came with a wallet key, and I'm carrying it instead of the fob, so using the phone will become a must, and if you can signal you can start it up in range, one draw back of the app is it does take a minute or two to process, so don't do it when walking to your car

Thanks much.

I read the owner's manual twice and I didn't see remote start mentioned as oem. It works perfectly on my 200 series, wish I had it on the 100.
