Attached is the official sheet from Lexus... Other than the addition of Siri hands-free and a couple of minor things, there is nothing.

It is mind-blowing that there is still no BSM, Driver Attention Monitor, LKA, etc. It is a fine vehicle, but waiting until the next generation to add some of these extras that much cheaper Lexus have or things like a leather dash doesn't strike me as a very smart move. There is much more competition than when the LX570 was first introduced.

 

Please tell me that this means the next generation will appear in 2016. LX670 come on!

 

What do you guys think? I was hoping for more technology. Should I hold out for a 2016 with blind spot monitor and such? Or perhaps could I expect big discounts on a 2014 to clear out the 2014 inventory? I wonder how much discount would be given on a 2014 since there are negligible changes. Adivce is appreciated.

 

Just purchased a 2014 LX570 10 days ago and discussed the upcoming body changes with the new car manager at the dealership. He said the changes will be a 2018 year model that will come out late 2017. I have no idea how reliable that is but...

The deal I got was 10% of msrp. Fair deal, not great but OK for both sides

Oh, come on... At least they started offering HIDs for MY2013, only 10+ years after they offered them on the RX300.

 

According to UZJ and myself, we think there might be a J200 LX570 update next year ahead of a late 2016 J300 redesign. I obviously don't work for Toyota, but I have a friend who does in Surrey, UK and he claims testing of the next Land Cruiser has begun in Japan and Southern Europe. I believe he's referring to the smaller LC, but I think the big one should be redesigned first and the LX.

 

Eight speed transmission is overdue.

I have no idea what the hell lexus is thinking but people are becoming very unhappy with the model updates. I think they concentrated resources on F updates neglecting rest.:
