basically wondering if any one here has done this and what steps are involved. its my understanding that its not easy as has been the case with previous landcruisers and 470 - thanks.
I woke up one Saturday morning with the full intentions of removing the seats in my 570 but found out quickly that it was a little more involved than I thought it would be. Even if you removed the seats, what is left behind would STILL get in the way!
I am on my second LX570 and have not even revisited the thought of removing them. The days of the removable seats in the 470 are gone. Maybe one day Lexus will give us choice on if we have a 3rd row or not.

I did it on an LC200. Took about 30 minutes per seat and it was not very difficult. The LC does not have power 3rd row seat, so no electrical wires to mess with. The only thing that remains in the LC after removal is the wheel well covers which is expected. I now have a huge cargo area.
Each seat is about 30 pounds, so the weight loss is a bonus.
