Default Second row seats

Does anyone have any ideas on how to secure the second row seats when they are folded up. It seems like no matter what I do, they always loosen up and flop around. Thanks.

Page 73 of the (2015) LX570 Owner's Manual:

Hook the holding strap to the

assist grip and secure the seat by

pulling its free end.

When returning the second seat to

its original position, stow the holding

strap.

Believe me I have tried that with my current LX and several previous 1st generation LXs. The Strap just doesn't seem to hold because of the weight of the seats. Seems like a poor design in my opinion. Thanks

It is a cheap design - but the strap is what you have - need to tighten it down with gusto.

Yeah it's a lame design, but the straps work if you tighten the hell out of them and secure the strap to itself with the velcro.

I did it today as a matter of fact! Had to deliver a bed frame and mattress.

Don't like the straps at all but when tightened I've never had a problem. Sounds to me like you may be skipping readjusting the straps when changing drivers? If I tighten the straps for my seat position and my wife drives with the seat positioned for her, then if you don''t readjust the straps then I get flopping for sure.
