Does anyone have experience mounting an panavise mount in-dash for a phone holder? There is little information on web for LX570 (i.e., part number, install instructions). Thanks!

I used this, works great.

 

I not only don't think so, I know so. It's inherently distractive and makes you a hazard...not mounted in your line of sight. If you must **** around with a phone while you should be focusing on what's around you, at least get a mount for the drivers side center vent.

This thread reminds me of just a little mayhem...

 

I used a Proclip device long ago when driving the LX470. It mounted on the air vent and they phone would be quite cold in the summer. Problem was in high humidity the phone would get drenching wet, from condensation, after leaving the vehicle, wet enough to set off the water sensors.

i leave my phone put away and use the Bluetooth features and my Apple Watch. I do not text while driving unless at a red light.

 

The Kuda piece is too short for the 17 LX. Returned the piece and will use a cheap vent mount until they update. Once I get the new model will post pictures. May order the Proclip and post pictures.

I have a 2011 and lookin for a good phone mount. I used to use a great magnetic mount for my former vehicle but it requires a flat surface. I can't use it on the lx.

I've seen the proclip and dont like my phone so far down for navigation. any other ideas?

I purchase MagSafe version that sticks onto vent. I put it on the right side facing the passenger and run the cable directly below where 12v connection is. Works well with my iPhone.

 

I find vent holders to be so wobbly.... yours stable?
