I used these Anker Powerwave MagSafe chargers mounted to the air conditioning vents. I used one of the mounting solutions in the box from Anker, and the other was bought from AliExpress that has a little hook that goes behind the vent. I ran flat braided USB-C cables under the dash and behind the trim to under the steering wheel where I have a 2-USB adapter wired into an always-on fuse with one of those add-a-fuse wires.
Not 100% clean but clean enough that I don't see any of the infrastructure. You can replace the MagSafe plates with any other holder to support Android phones or stick a metal ring onto your Android phone case.
Works better than the factory Wireless Charger as I can put something bigger on them
It does slightly block the "tune" **** or if you have a BUCC-EES extra large cup in the cupholder.
I put two in, one for the better half. I barely use the factory wireless charger I specially installed. I think with MagSafe cases it stops charging because it detects metal. I was told this is an issue on the LX600 as well.
After I got the carplay retrofit installed I had no need to mount the phone in a visible fashion. I ended up ordering the saddle storage units from aliexpress to have a place to put my phone and other things. Have been super happy with them.
- here's the storage saddles. They are actually much better than I expected:
