Used Oil Analysis of Mobil1 5w30 in the 4.7L engine
I have been running Mobil1 in my 4.7L for some time and decided to get an oil analysis of the oil after running an extended oil change interval. The data in the link below is from an analysis from an independent oil lab of the oil after it was run in my LX470 for 12,200 miles. The results are very positive and I wanted to shed some light on how wonderfully easy on oil this engine is.
The thread is HERE which is a board for all things that are oil. It is a great resource whether you own an LX or not and I encourage you all to visit it if you have a chance.
