Outside Temp Gauge
My outside temp gauge is terrible inaccurate and was wondering if there was a calibration procedure of if i could possible have a bad or misplaced probe. Thanks for any advice...
Same here. Outside temp in the morning is usually in the teens but my outside temp guage reads in the 40s. After about 5 mins of driving, it slowly decreases to "almost l" match the outside conditions.
Are we describing garaged cars? Our garage door opener inside mounted controller
has a temperature display and in the winter it may be 20 degrees outside, display reads
40 and the car starts out at 45. Pull out and drive and 2-3 minutes later the car shows 20.

Large immediate temperature swings will often times display incorrect outside temp for a while. Sometimes it may take an hour of driving before it will correct itself. Also going through carwashes will affect this as well.
