Upgrading
I’m looking to upgrade from my RX350L to a LS500.
By roaming around this thread I’m not finding any complaints.
I’m guessing everyone is happy with this choice.
Should I get White or the Silver??

There is definitely some complaints, all I can say to you is it is probably better to test one out first see how you feel. Try to use everything and see if you can live with the car. I love the car but there are some here and there issues in terms of usability. They have changed it as well so are you looking new or used.
Yeah pretty much, the new one is different from the 18-20 model years. I haven't had any mechanic issues been pretty solid.
Not to be rude but I don't know where you're looking but there several complaints. One owner had 2 motors replaced. Also the LS has been given a low reliability rating by consumer reports. I have had a few problems with mine but nothing major. If I were you, I'd buy brand new as long term reliability is still unknown for this engine and transmission.
I drove a 21LS500 with Luxury option. Great features and ride but price was high at $107k
I’m now leaning towards a used 2018 MB S560. Has all the added luxuries, larger faster engine and a CPO car has a warranty better than Lexus. And it’s almost $40k cheaper.

The S-Class is very nice. Better tech and the accent lighting looks great at night. Something the LS doesn't have.

I have an opinion to this. I drove a 2011 Es ultra Luxury since 2012 until a few months ago. Really enjoyed the car and kept it because it was super comfortable and until a year ago when it hit 180k miles no issues except normal maintenance. My wife leases Rx350s every three years. I drive hers in bad weather so I know Rx very well. She only drives black cars so I ended up leasing her a 21 rx350 Luxury in December because that was what was available. She doesn’t care about ML the way I do so I hadn’t considered that for her before. The headlights and other upgrades make that vehicle much better than previous versions. It’s very nice and well worth the money. I think it makes it much more competitive to the German cars. I ended up leasing a 20 Ls500 luxury due % off discount and rebates. In fact the lack of awd inventory for certified makes new cheaper in my region if you can negotiate well. I went back and forth as to if I made a mistake in not saving a bit of money and not getting my own Rx Luxury. But in the end I really enjoy my Ls. The Rx is super easy to drive. Anyone can jump into the drivers seat and with minimal adjustments go. It has excellent visibility and is comfortable. It’s great in the snow and rain. My wife’s version in black with black interior looks great and high end. It’s pretty comfortable but I’m 6’5 and it’s not as comfortable as my Es was. The Ls is a different beast. It takes a minute to get the seats in the right position and is not something a family member can jump in and go. They most likely won’t understand the shifter. But once it’s dialed in it’s very comfortable. The Interior is incredible the best is the segment. The ml system is excellent compared to other ml versions. The Bluetooth is perfect first Lexus people car tell I’m on Bluetooth. The car looks great and gets lots of attention. If you don’t want attention it’s a bad choice. It creates a emotional reaction I wasn’t expecting and something I haven’t had since having a sports car in high school. The best way I can sum it up is this. On my day off if I need to run several errands to dry cleaners and grocery store the Rx is better. Very easy for that kind of trip. For my long work commute the LS is a pleasure and makes we happy as a quite highway cruiser that does everything perfectly. Now if it is worth the extra money and loss of a bit of practicality for the emotional pleasure of the LS 500 is really a very individual decision. I’m glad I got my LS and it’s nice to have something so excellent. That said it is a luxury over practical move. Hope that helps.
