LS500 Too Complicated
Sounds like Lexus is following German car manufacturers. I drove a new Panamera (my wife has a Gen 1, which she loves and has let me know she is driving it until it is a problem car), and I could not find the menu to move the center air vents. I mean come on......why couldn't they just leave them as a manual slide. All this tech nonsense is inconvenience and more to go wrong. I have thought about going to look at a LS500, but this thread has me thinking. Maybe it is time to go to a Tesla. They are actually pretty simple....so long as one is okay with average fit and finish and okay paint.
The Climate Concierge is amazing. I didn’t think any car could pick the correct temp for me. I’m always changing the air flow in the summer here in Arizona. Wow. This LS is so awesome ! If I’m not mistaken but the seats have sensors that detect hot spots and adjust the ventilated seats accordingly. I have never needed to manually adjust the temp in this vehicle. Just the degree.
I absolutely hate software windows for all/most car functions. Give me buttons or give me death! The only thing I want a screen for is infotainment choices or redundant controls that also have buttons.
I'm in the market for an LS500 and this is an issue for me.
