I saw something on-line that it might be an “outside” low temp warning. Like freezing temp.

Default 2018 ls ip

If you are inquiring about the "snowflake" icon just above the digital Outside Temp display it is just a reminder/warning
that freezing conditions may exist and to watch for icing conditions. Note: the "SNOW" light in the lower right corner
indicates that you deliberately pressed the "snow" button and now the transmission will start out from a dead stop in
second (2nd) gear to minimize wheel spin. Will shift up through all remaining gears during this drive cycle, defaults
off, must be selected each time you restart the car in marginal conditions.

That dash picture is nothing like my 2018 LS 500.

Is yours an F-Sport? Regardless of the IP layout, are you asking about the "snowflake" icon?

I'm not sure what you mean with the "low temp indicator". If it is the snowflake icon as mcomer described, than it is likely a notification that the outside temperature is below 32 F.

Does this look more like yours? Low ambient temperature "snowflake" icon in the upper left near the digital readout.

Did you check the owners manual?

Some Subaru models (and no doubt others) have an actual blue display "low temp" that
warns that the engine is not yet warmed up enough to provide full power. I have never
seen that feature on a Lexus.
