Exclamation Low Engine Coolant Level Warning Light Problems

My low engine coolant level warning light keeps coming on even after I had the system flushed and filled with new coolant. I have a 91 LS 400. Any ideas?

Also- Is there a way to search the forums?

Thanks!

I have the same problem on my 91 Ls. Just keep an eye on the temp gauge, and drive it til it breaks.

I had the same problem. I fixed it by zip tying the float (round foam) on the upper portion of the sensor. The light will go away.

I just banged the top of the sensor with my fist. Light went away. Sits right on top of the coolant reservoir.

Was that the bottom side of your fist like a hammer blow or was it the knuckle side like a punch........JUST KIDDING... I love the technical solutions you find in this forum.

Sensor located in coolant resevoir. Just unplug it and light will never come on again.
