Default Backup view: is this normal?

My car got rear ended and the bumper replaced. After repair, when I back up, I can almost see the license plate - I don't remember seeing this before. Is this normal? Or is the back up camera angle is off?

Thank you for your help!

Hi Sean,
I am very sorry to hear about the accident. Hope it was repaired to your satisfaction.
I think the angle of your back up camera is perfectly normal. I just checked on some new car listings, and the views look the same as yours. Here are two examples.

Thank you Sir! Yes the repair was done pretty well. With the shifting jerkiness fixed, I really enjoy the LS 500.

Anyone knows where is the camera located that gives you the top view? On my top view, the right side of the car is blurred/dirty and I like to clean it.

Thank you!

It should be under the side rear view mirrors.

How do you access the top view on the back up camera?

Your vehicle has to be equipped with this feature. If it is, follow instructions on page 258 of your navigation Screen manual. Below is page 260. Please post some pictures (inside and out) of your LS500 AWD F-sport. I am intrigued by the color and options you have.

Wow, "Moving" and "See-through" views sound very neat.

Yes I use the moving and see-through views frequently when I park in tight spaces to check my clearances!
