Default Rear ceiling vents, not available in US?

Those will work very well for kids.
I checked out the US models, even executive package won't have this vent.

My EU car is the most luxurious "President" version, it also has no vents in the ceiling...

They might not have the vents on the pillar or perhaps they have some option that requires a vent to be relocated?

I guess we lack that rear vent in US markets.
And what the hell is that door panel material?

I'm glad it isn't there. It looks like a 1970's Honda.

Interesting choice. Usually its a silk material. One thing that drew me to Lexus is the move from replication of teutonic influence to Japanese in the interior. The cars traditionally were facsimile of Mercedes S class. It was a successful formula.

As for the vent inclusion? The OP for sure should get a pulitzer! No doubt he air flow in the anglicized version will create mold issues and perhaps radon poisoning for its occupants! Normally with a lack of logic I'd default to a conspiracy but Im not embolden with a theory as to why? If a Chinese manufacture I'd say it was a "World domination" theme but not here.
In the GS forums there are very motivated participants who would tackle a modification for its inclusion but perhaps even the most irrational would ponder if its worth the "Upgrade".
