ok, just got another email with more info, here goes:

options available:

AP - advanced pre-collision

PI - advanced park guidance

MZ - lexus link

RC - rear comfort package, rear a/c (cooler+air purifier+roof), rear entertainment system

RY - rear seat upgrade package - special utility package, slide (power), mid control, wireturn rear seat adjuster

LP - luxury package 2, rear ottoman, rear door and rear sunshade, semi aniline leather, rear air, rear cooler box, 12 volt power supply

 

Thats pretty insane.

$115k US for the LS600hL (w/o options) ... I hope its $115k US fully loaded.

I honestly dont even want to know how much its going to cost here in Canada lol. Probably $130k-$145K CDN

 

No theres no way itll be 115,000 without options. Thats got to include most of the options if not all. (if not fully loaded)

 

So they didn't bundle the rear entertainment system together with the rear ottoman with the 600hL - should have done the same with the 460L ...

 

The LS460L loaded with Exec. Package is already over C$120K, so I expect the LS600hL would start close to C$140K & definitely around C$150K loaded w/ ottoman . . .

 

ive been told by my dealer it will start between 110-115k and only 400 will be imported into the country. my dealer is warnock lexus. im told each dealer will get only about 1 or 2.

 

umm, starting point of 110k, i wonder what options mentioned are already included. probably include quite a few stuff already.

but 115k and no rear exec, that's a bit sad. that's pretty expensive

also, i noticed that too andrew that the rear entertainment and ottoman are separate now for the 600hl. that's surprising but good!

if that's true, i have a feeling that we might see the same changes on ls460l later

 

I tend to think $115K would not be the starting base price for the LS600hL, it sounds higher than expected to me. The hybrid premium + AWD & the miscellaneous little things like full leather dash shouldn't be worth a whopping $20K over a loaded LS460L with executive package( that's about $95K right ?).

With the ottoman & RSES seperated, I wonder if the so-called Executive Package of the LS460L would still exist for the 600hL. Certainly the 4-seat package with ottoman would not cost $10K+ extra without the RSES . . .

115K is less than I expected, but it's crazy expensive. You could
almost buy an LS and a GS for that price...

 

The 400 number seems off since 100 is NM edition, and Ward's Auto had 1,850 preorders...
