I guess this shows we know what we know and nobody's perfect, the nut guy will never tell anyone how long it took him to find the problem but he had the benefit of having some dealer spend many hrs looking at the wrong things as usual starting at the most complicated and without knowing was headed for the bulb. It's not like ccn would've done any better.

It didn't look to me like he was using techstream.

Thanks for that video, that definitely helped !!

I just fixed mine, the $4k new replacement headlight (LED) from the stealership came with a missing halogen lamp !!!

The lamp is an H9 12v 65w. 20 bucks at oriley auto parts, I took the one from the other headlight to confirm.

The space is a little tight, but doable without having to remove the bumper/headlight.

Hello everyone,

For about three months, I’ve been trying to find a solution to the same issue I’ve been having with my car. After a lot of searching, I finally thought I’d found the answer: I bought two halogen bulbs, since they were missing ever since I bought the car and I didn’t know what to replace them with.

After installing and securing the bulbs, I still had the same problem. When I drive at night and reach a speed of 20 km/h, the PCS warning appears — even though the halogen bulbs are properly installed. I checked the car’s computer and saw the same fault code (C1A6A) still showing.

I also tried activating the halogen or IR lights through the car’s system — and they actually worked perfectly. When I press the “on” button, they turn on; when I press “off,” they turn off. Everything works fine, but the moment I activate the IR lights, the PCS warning pops up again.

I’m not sure what’s causing this, but I noticed that the right-side light is higher than the left one. I suspect the alignment might not be correct. Even so, the night visibility is really poor.

I’ll share some pictures and videos soon — I really hope someone can help me figure this out.

Important note: It works perfectly fine and doesn’t show any errors or cause any issues — but only if I keep the high beams turned on
