I decided to pull my badges off, they were a little faded and chipped. I'm quite surprised how little effort I needed to put into polishing the paint, there was almost no fade around the emblems.
This stupid car has sucked me in, I was not planning on doing a full correction but I'm now getting the ceramic ready after fixing all the chips and other issues. This paint is very easy to work with, very soft and you don't need to use any aggressive pads or compounds.
For context I should probably have included before I polished it lol! Before polish, only picked the majority of the adhesive off with a plastic wedge.
This is one of the first things I normally do to nearly all of our vehicles, as the main benefit, aside from a cleaner/symmetrical look, is the ease of cleaning and waxing in that area. On my L460 L, I did it just prior to having all of the top surfaces wrapped (badly oxidized obsidian color).
Looks perfect!! If I ever get my LS wrapped, I'm going chrome! Love the look of your clear lenses! Never seen such of perfect marriage of color and lens! Great job.
I think you guys have convinced me to rebadge my car!

Your kind words are much appreciated! It's been 2.5 years since I installed them, and there hasn't been a single issue, as I check them periodically for proper operation. Also, the smoked/tint level is exactly what I was hoping they'd be when I first received them....not too dark and not too lite. Wrap was done 2 years ago, and it still looks great as well.

It looks great brother. Glad to see it is holding up well
