I thought these 600 Nike lights in the corner were the drl? Funny, previously when I read Nike lights, I always thought people were talking about the aftermarket door projector lights. I thought somehow the Lexus L might look like a Nike N on the ground. Seems rather a dumb thought now that I think about it.

Ah yes, you're right 460 high beams just look dim now that you refreshed my memory...

Are these what you refer to as Nike lights? Maybe that is just a reflection I'm seeing.

to have Nike lights on the 460/600 come on by themselves you turn on the parking lights, which is one step above off, then your tail lights come on and led at the corner of the 460 near the grille comes on as for 600 I gotta go look closely

Monza if you have 1 side not working I'd turn off the drl feature using techstream.
hi Mike

thanks for the response

how do I access tech stream? Is there a in car menu to switch on/off the DRL?

I also read from another thread that the DRLs cannot be replaced , entire headlight assy must be replaced !

Your welcome. On newer cars you can turn the drl's on or off using the nav display menu's. On older models Techstream must be used. There are versions of techstream for purchase on amazon for $30 or so.

If you have a good relationship with your dealer they might turn it off for free, either using their computer with techstream or doing it through the nav display, if that is possible with your model year.

it’s really depends on what you mean by cannot . As in the dealer and most places won’t be able to fix it , probably. It also depends how handy you are lots of people modify their own headlights, so repairing the module if it’s not working would involve opening the headlights. I bought some spare led modules for my headlights off yahoo auctions Japan.. I don’t know which yours uses if it’s a board etc. try Googling for pics with the light taken apart

Can anyone provide the part number for LH and RH led headlamps? Do they require programming for RHD cars? Mine is RHD based in Singapore.

or the headlamps are just plug and play?

thank you

Hmm I thought I replied, I have not compared xenon to led side by side I would assume since it’s 2007 led tech it’s not going to be as great as xenon try asking or googling to see how far the Xenon beam
goes this goes about 10meters. It does look a TON better aesthetically speaking, The key as you can see from my posts is to get it properly aimed which can mean 5m as opposed to 10. Also the high beams can be converted to bixenons/leds that involves opening up the lights to change the projectors and some wiring that would give you the best of both worlds but cost you money.

for those interested in ls600 headlights and fogs dm I’ll make you a deal, it’s gonna be cheap but cheaper than buying on eBay etc
