I have nothing weird to post just had a nice drive today from Las Vegas to San Juan capistrano. 295 miles in 4 hours and 10 minutes. 29.5mpg. Speedo is 3% high so take away 1mpg. 90mph a lot in the desert sections. Amazing car for 115k miles and 13 years old.

Just had to boast i guess.

 

Awesome ride for a long trip... 6 weeks ago, myself, 2 friends and the 6 month old puppy(Mr. Fitz) went from NW Wisconsin to St. Louis, to NW No. Carolina. 2940 miles on 108 gallons of gas, 8 days. 400 - 500 of those miles were wandering in the mountains. You really don't appreciate how nice the ride is until you relax in the back seat for an extended period. Just rolled over 220K on the odometer! Looking forward to the next 220K.

 

Amazing mpg on the freeway, brutal in the city! I think I'm getting 12 mpg.

 

not sure what “city” type driving you are experiencing but in town primarily on surface streets I get 18 to 19. Idling for hours then driving I may drop to 16-17. Wyoming has that congested of streets?

 

Yeah, city mileage is V8. Highway mileage is in-line 4!
