Default gs3 maintenance

Is the engine an interference or non-interference type? When is it recommended to change the timing belp? Is $65 for oil changes typical? I'm doing about 1000 miles a week and I'm not looking forward to paying out the a$$ for maintenance! I see some people are quoted $1200 for 60k maintenance.

I'm guess if that is the going rate, I'll be spending a lot more time under my GS than I ever did under my Maximas.

Holy moly 1000 miles a week is 52,000 miles a year! wow, if you mind my asking, what do you do? that's a lot of driving albeit, if you're gonna drive, drive in style! and if you're gonna drive in style, drive comfortably ! great car to be driving that many miles on.

Well figure 100 each way to work (hour and a half or so) , 200 round trip a day times 5 days =1000 miles a week. I agree though, alot of miles but then again your driving in LUXUARY!

I live in Columbus Ohio and work near Dayton. Thanks to osama, I guess I'll be at it for a while. I was hoping the job market would open up some in Columbus!

Well, it's like you said, if I have to drive it, I might as well do in style and comfort! The GS is the best commuter I've ever drove.

I've got the GS and the RX and they're both great. I totally belive that RX commercial that says "if there's an uncomfortable drive, it's not our fault".

The RX actually wins against the GS cuz it's stock but they're both nice

PS: Why can't they just kill the guy? I guarantee a 2000 increase in the djia.

If you want to try and save money, why don't u just change the oil yourself, it may be alkward, bu this way you know your oil is getting changed and you know whats going in there.
