Arrow Brake and beeping noise issues

Hello, any feedback on what may be wrong with my LS 460 would be great here. A couple days ago, the brake pedal become hard to press and a loud beeping/alarm sound is constant. Radio and everything still plays but this constant noise has not stopped. I have not drove it since. Even when the car is turned off, the noise still happens.

I'm very sorry to hear this but this is your brake actuator going out. Please be very careful and dont drive the vehicle. Go get it checked out asap. Have you check the codes? Please post it up

I recently replaced a brake control power supply and just ordered a parking brake control module- as the codes were calling for that. So you’re saying, the actuator is something different?

I would install those parts and see where it goes. You might be fine with those.

The following lights are on; Check ABS System and Check VSC System. Within the past two weeks, I’ve replaced the Brake Power Supply and replaced the Parking Brake Control yesterday.

What could this be?

Have you checked for actual error codes before replacing parts?

I could be wrong but it sounds like a relay is stuck on. Years ago I had a bad brake actuator and bad pump motor. All the alarms and lights were going off, stiff pedal, ect. It was a few years go but I'm 90 percent sure when the car was shut off the alarms all stopped. I don't think it is normal for the sounds to continue.

Anfanger is right you need to check codes. They will help narrow down the issue. You'll likely need techstream to reset the system once you figure it out.

I assume you are disconnecting the battery to silence the car?

The sound has stopped since replacing the Parking Brake Control. But the Check ABS and VCS lights are still on going.

Sounds like you may have corrected the problem. This tutorial explains how to reset the system.
