I have a 2009 LEXUS LS460 RWD and I was wondering if anyone knows what the best engine swap would be for it. If so, what’s a price range and what info I need for it and if anyone has done it. I heard the is F engine but haven’t head of the GS F engine. I straight piped mine and it sounds great but not loud enough at all or fast. And no I don’t want to get a new car.

I know a korean guy who swapped 3rd-gen GS460 with an ISF engine. Yet there is a russian guy with a 3IS swapped with a RCF engine . Question is how much are you willing to spend?
Check out Monkey Wrench Racing outta MI.
They make stuff for LS460.
Camshafts,a MID Sleeve kit, I think even a stroker kit. Maybe the stroker was for the 3UR.
None of it looked cheap, and I'm not sure if a tune was included.
Even trying to turn 1UR into a 2UR with factory parts, sounds expensive.(Though I would have loved to have tried.)

Traditionally Toyota’s FE and GE engines had intrinsic cylinder head differences like different valve angles in addition to larger diameter valves and higher performance camshafts. I don’t know about the URs case but it won’t be as simple as adding a trick camshaft to the 1UR-FSE to make it flow like a 2UR-GSE. If you must have more power with the LS460 engine then the only way to go is some kind of forced induction.
