2017 LS460 brake clicks?
Sorry if has been posted before but I was test driving a 2017 LS460 AWD 39k miles...and couldn’t help but notice clicking with the brakes? Anytime I would press the break I heard a click. Then at red light / stop signs a louder noise when I held on the brakes for more than 5-6 seconds.
It did just snow pretty good here yesterday and when I brought it up to the salesperson they blamed it on that. Has anyone had this problem before? I looked up the service history and the previous owner brought it in fir that reason and the technicians said that was normal? It’s really throwing me off and questioning whether to buy the car. I love everything else about it

I have been hearing 2-3 low pitch clicks when braking. This started about a year ago and has gotten slowly worse. I wonder if it is the brake actuator. No lights so far. I have Lexus Platinum VSA coverage until 2024, so am resting easy (for now) in case these clicks are an indicator of expensive repairs down the road. 80K miles on my car.
My 2013 LS 460 sometimes, not always, emits a soft 'chirp' when braking while turning, and noticeable only at low speed.
I haven't looked into it as I've only noticed it in the last ten days or so.
You can't make this stuff up.
Anyone else?

I am new to Lexus. I purchased an '08 LS460 last year. It now has about 80,000 miles on it. Before I bought the car, I did a lot of research about known issues/problems, one of which was the brake actuator/pump. (The warranty on this issue has expired for my car.) So I've been very watchful of this; perhaps a little paranoid, if I'm honest. About 3 months ago, I started to hear a "clunk" (more substantial than a click) at certain times. It appears to happen when the car is stationary and I am putting it into gear or changing gears and I press the pedal with a little more force. And of course, it does not happen all the time; not even half of the time. So, of course, when I took it in to the dealer I couldn't get it to replicate. So, I just continue to listen out for it. I don't think I hear it (or at least rarely) when the car is moving and I apply my brakes.
Not sure this is helpful, other than perhaps to let you know that you are not the only one with concerns about it.

I googled the brake clunk noise and found the Lexus Bulletin about replacing the actuator. Car is still under warranty so dealership said they’ll fix it and i’ll test drive again to see the difference. Hope it does the trick. Really love the car. Hope it’s not something that they all have
It fails when it stops working if it makes a sound once in a while it’s not an issue for 2018 sure under warranty get whatever you can fixed but I don’t trust dealers they are hacks might F up more than they fix
