Default 2014 Clock Spring Replacement Help

Hi guys, I’m replacing clock spring on my 2014 LS460 and I can’t seem to find what this reconnects to.

in the photo it is the connector between my index and middle finger. I have made all connections but I do not see anything for this piece. Could it be an “extra”?

Look at post #45-47 and see if that helps. Good luck.

In post #47 it shows that it’s not connected to anything prior to disassemble..weird. Hope I don’t have airbags go off because of this

Hold on Man. Don't risk it. Wait a minute. Keep digging around. Did you take pictures before you started?
Did you watch the video?

No pics, I realized how dumb that was. I figured it would be disconnecting and re-connecting the wires
also I dug around for an hour and saw nothing

I wouldn't but I'm just a scary cat. The car might jump like Speed Racers Mach-5.

If you turn the key to ON it will trigger the SRS system and will require a code reader to reset.

Yes, I just disconnected battery after checking all steering wheel systems function properly. How long should I wait after disconnect battery to reinstall airbag?

Man, I don't know. Wait for someone else to chime in. I've never played with that system.
