Ok. I need to replace my entire front suspension on my 2009 ls460L awd. I'm trying to find a complete kit. Or piece together one thats cost effective. Can anyone point me in the right direction other than the dealer? Also will be replacing the air struts all the way around. Seems like Arnott industries has the best bang for the buck for this model. But if anyone knows of a better deal please let me know.
has anyone done the coil over shocks? Can you get rid of the warning lights? Please let me know. This will be my winter project. But trying to save as much as possible. Thanks in advance!!

I know that Beck and Arnley makes a full front set of control arms but you can't get it anywhere. There are some arms available on RockAuto though. I am not sure if it is due COVID-19 or low demand. Just don't buy used ones, the risk is too high to me.

ok thanks. Yes I have been eyeballing those parts from them. Reasonable compared to the dealer. The dealer quoted me 9k just to replace all 4 struts. Needless to say they got the middle finger..lol thanks!!

The struts are very pricey to replace. Most of the member switch to conventional suspension to save money.

Default Still on a mission

If someone could enlighten me on how they got the dash lights off after the conversion id probably go that route verses replacing them with the Arnott.
also the control arms are confusing me. For example forward front lower. How many pieces in the front. I called around and I was given like a dozen different combos. Arney Buckley

You will need to tap the ends of the tubing with end caps. It should remove suspension specific lights if there are no leaks.
Amazon Amazon

There are four control arms per each front side: front upper forward and rearward, lower forward and rearward.

CL user @lsappsoc gave me the contact details for a Chinese manufacturer of the air struts that sells them dirt cheap. He bought struts from them that are still going strong, and they have all the functionality of OEM struts.

I changed to coils and had no dash lights come on whatsoever ... I left the height sensors in place but disconnected the strut top actuators. I didn’t touch the compressor or its wiring, I just capped the air lines.

I was gonna go the Arnott route but read somewhere that you loose some of the functions compared to OEM, so decided not to go that route. I bought a chinese air strut set for very cheap and when tried to install it, it was not the right one. I bought another set from Dubai for approximately 1500 for both rears, and is doing good so far. Drove about 500 miles with no lights. Not sure if it matters, but mine is a 2013 LS460L

RockAuto carry six of the eight control arms that you need. Here are the part numbers for the six that they carry.

BECK/ARNLEY 1028162
BECK/ARNLEY 1028163
BECK/ARNLEY 1027634
BECK/ARNLEY 1027635
BECK/ARNLEY 1028199
BECK/ARNLEY 1028200
I just ordered these for my LS600. Haven't installed them yet though.
As far as air suspension goes you can get the Chinese remanufactured units for relatively cheap. They should run ~1500 for a full set.
