I recently acquired a 2007 LS460 with the ML audio. I’ve never owned a car with a high end audio system. As such, I was wondering if it’s normal for most of the sound from the speakers coming from the front speaker in the middle of the dashboard. I can’t seem to hear sound from the speakers built into the rear doors. Thanks!
Congrats on the new car. I always push more sound to the back. Then when I raise the volume I get a nice full sound. Go into your radio section and adjust the bar towards the back seat. Then see if you can hear it.

Ok I see...so that’s pretty characteristic of these ML audio systems? Also, would downloading songs sound better than playing them through the auxiliary jack?
Thanks a lot. Should I leave the other setting on (I think it raises volume as speed increases?)
I normally left it off on my 2007... It raises the volume when there is road noise, I would find sometimes that it goes up too loud when others are in the car.
I would try it, and see how you like it, and if you don't, it's easy enough to disable.

I agree with R Z--I like a little fuller sound with some coming from the back. But, a lot of the audiophiles are looking for "sound stage" where everything is in front of them.
