sounds like you have the classic hesitation issue, no one knows why it happens, no one knows how to fix it, and no one knows a dealer who has any answers

some say switching to Toyota oil helps, some say using an engine cleaners helps, lots of threads on it

Give her an italian tune up. High revs high throttle--use the manual mode to achieve this easily and please report back.

Maybe have the engine ECM reflashed. I had the dreaded hesitation that lasted for 500 miles after oil change. The reflash fixed my 2007.

To prevent issues due to carbon buildup on your direct injection engine, CARspec recommends routine induction cleaning of the intake and intake valves every 60,000 miles, typically in conjunction with your 60,000 mile major service. Using a special metering tool, a cleaning solution is slowly drawn into the running engine, down the intake, across the intake valves and burned. This process dissolves existing deposits and allows the engine to burn and exhaust them without issue. We’re always happy to show any curious guest the process and hope this helps owners of direct injection Lexus engines understand the service needs of their engines better.

Top tier gas over 15k miles smoothed the idle and lessened the lag. Plug change finished the job

Today I checked all fluids n notice my antifreeze level was beyond low.add 16oz of water rev the car and it was down to empty again.puzzled I checked all over for possible leaks found none..put 16 0z of water again this time it went pass full and as of now holding there with the revving..notice bubbles coming up so I know there is air in the system..squeezed radiator hose to get the remainder out..hose hot to touch.well after hitting 100 plus miles of driving the car is idling normally .even after starting n off a couple times still good..🤔🤔guess it had to relearn my driving habits after the battery change.by the way lexus battery is trash they only last two years and months then they want to hit you with prorated charge that comes out to 190 for a replacement. Auto zones battery are better with warranty 3 years with the gold

Default Idling take off issues

hello family Sunday I did a live data on the car with the scan tool..I was checking all the vitals and notice bank one readings was in the negative 1500 while bank two was in the positive 1500. I have no cel but when I excel on the pedal its sounds like the gas is being flooded into the system. Meaning its running rich or lean.to much air or to much gas..but the mixture is not correct. I think I have some type of leak..does the pcv valve play a factor.hose which ones to checkout 🤔 do I change the spark plugs at 62500 miles.need direction please.dont want to play the switch out parts game.need mechanic advice thanks.

The PCV valve is unlikely to cause such issues. Spark plugs should be good, it is recommend to replace spark plugs at 100k miles.

Check throttle body and make sure it can open and close freely. Check both engine air filters. Clean both MAF sensors. Make sure all air intake hoses connected correctly. Reset the ECU and see it makes any difference.

If the issue persists, remove the spark plugs and check its condition.

I did that a few times with my car and all I got in return was rotten egg smell from the cats and eventually two blown out mufflers.

I'm not sure but thats what some people were saying helped them.

Funny enough my hesitation issues started after I switched to Toyota fluid from my usual Castrol synth.

My car went in for the valve spring replacement and it cured all my hesitation issues.

Maybe you could try seafoam to help clear out your fuel system, worth a try.
