Sorry if this has been answered just seeing if someone added a trunk DVD player and played dvd's on their nav screen without the ML stereo

Just curious why would you want to have a trunk dvd when u have ml stereo

 

I don't have the ML. I want to watch DVD's on the Navi screen, where else would I put the DVD player if not mounted in the trunk ?

 

I think the best is the tesla style lcd display for ls460
It looks the best and will play the dvd while you drive

 

I don;t want to change the head unit.

 

There are very few people who claimed that they hacked there nav system to watch videos while driving but never posted a video of it there was a post for hacking the nav system of is if you want i will find that for you

Ls460 plays dvds only when the car is in the park gear self hacking the 4th generation was never done

 

Beat-Sonic I believe makes some overrides that enable DVD in motion.

And, with enough money anything can be accomplished.

 

Try looking for vais android integration that lets you play videos while in motion from your android phone the cost is around 400-500 usd
