does anyone have an air schematic for these cars or does one exist in the service manual?
What kind of diagram? The service manual has pretty good illustrations for where components are located on the car, and high-level summaries of control module circuits. Doesn't look like there's a diagram that illustrates how exactly air lines are routed along the body though. The New Car Features manual has a good overview of all the components involved, but it's not accurate enough or intended to troubleshoot the system (see attached).
^^^^^^ That's perfect thanks, looks like every corner is individually controlled which is good.
I have read that the rears are connected together but I have noticed when adjusting the height sensors with the engine off the system sets one corner at a time when the engine is started.
Gotcha. Yes, that seems to be accurate as this statement appears elsewhere in the same system overview:
- The height control valves control the air passage between the compressor and the 4 pneumatic cylinders.
- The front height control valve individually controls the left and right air passages to the front pneumatic cylinders. In the same way, the rear height control valve individually controls the left and right air passages to the rear pneumatic cylinders.
