Driver Massage Seats

I recently sat in a 2018 LS at the dealer while waiting for my maps to be updated and the driver seat had a massage feature. It was pretty nice. What year did they start putting massages in the front seats?

i believe it was released in the new revision, 2018

Certainly was not an option in the 460’s. The last time I got a quote for a dealer map update it was 400 plus so I said no thanks. Was your map update similarly priced? Some years ago Lexus ran a special for 199 map updates and I keep hoping that will come back around.

If memory is correct I think it was aprox $200.00 for the map plus $40.00 for the install

Thats a steal.

They added the massage in 2018. The massage drivers seat was the only thing I liked about the LS500 vs my LS460 lol

I know the LS430 had the rear seat massage option from an auto show waaaaaay back in 2006. Wonder why they didn't make it an option on the 460 for the front seats.
